Job Area: Engineering (Modem System Test Engineer)
Job Location: Hyderabad
Candidate will be working with a multi-discipline team (Software Development, System Design, Customer Support, ASIC Design, RF Circuits and Hardware Design, etc.) to integrate, test and commercialize QCT products.
Campus Grads will be working on following areas:
- System level feature testing
- Developing/executing test strategies and test plans
- Field log analysis
- Troubleshooting/analyzing problems
- Optimizing system performance
- Improving the stability of the product
- Optimizing power consumption
- Supporting customers with product commercialization.
Responsibilities include:
o Develop good understanding of Radio Access Technologies- LTE/UMTS/GERAN/ CDMA2000, 1xEV-DO and call flows for Single SIM and Multi-SIM devices
o Develop understanding of Physical layer, MAC procedures, Radio Resource Control protocol specifications, Non-Access Stratum procedures and data protocol stacks
o Candidate will be responsible for verifying Modem software protocols/features, characterizing system performance, Software stability and Power Consumption testing
o Develop expertise in using Network Simulators for preparing test beds, configuration, scripting and debugging
o Exposure to Perl/Python scripting, Programming in C etc. is desired
